Turmeric is a herbaceous perennial plant of the ginger family. It is native to tropical South Asia.
When not used fresh, the rhizomes are boiled for several hours and then dried in hot ovens, after which they are ground into a deep yellow/orange powder commonly used as a spice.
The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin.

Directions:
Take one capsule twice daily, preferably with meals or may be taken as a tea by opening capsule into a cup, then adding hot water.
Do not exceed stated dose.
