The benefits of belly dance are both mental and physical. Dancing provides a good cardio-vascular workout and helps increase both flexibility and strength, focusing on the torso or "core muscles", although it also builds leg strength.

How much fun did we have. i suffer from osteo arthritis in my hips and lower spine, the moves are slow and easy, you get a good workout without much efffort. This dvd is so much fun, get some mates round and wack it on. If you do have health issues such as arthritis just take care not to overdo it. 01 October 2012
