Rated 3 out of 5 by Hatty51 Not bad This mince is easy to use, once soaked it can be used like mince. I don't like the flavour or the consistency of this mince as much as the more chunky pieces of frozen soya mince. But a little of the granose mince goes a long way, so it's good value. There are two packets of mince in each box. They don't need refrigeration, so is a great store cupboard food. 30 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by helpintom wonderful! I have used this now several times mixed with vegetables to make a rich, thick and delicious ragu sauce for a lasagna. I'll be making one for Xmas 20 December 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mimi45 of Soya Mince I was not tempted to buy until I received a package of various veggie/vegan things as a birthday present and this was included. To me it has a similar taste to the meatloaf which now sadly seems to have disappeared - I can't quite get the mixture correct though as instructions say place the required amount into a bowl and cover with boiling water - sometimes it's too dry, sometimes soggy. I found that by caramelising my onions first in the fry pan, then adding the mince with tomato puree and oven roasted baby tomatoes we enjoyed a very tasty Spaghetti Bolognese. I enjoy the Granose range and think their foods are a great store cupboard must have. 04 January 2014
