Rated 1 out of 5 by Cazbo14 from Warning - has no flouride I switched to this toothpaste because I suffer from constant mouth ulcers and wanted to try a toothpaste without SLS in the ingredients. After going years without having any fillings I ended up having to have one last week and the dentist advised me to stop using this toothpaste as it does not contain fluoride and was probably the cause of my cavity :( I have been using it for about 8 months

Rated 5 out of 5 by p27holland from Healthy, happy and clean! After realising my health issues were partly being triggered by minty toothpaste, I decided to search for a non-mint alternative. Nowhere could I find one. It seems every brand on the market - even ones that claim to be made from lemon, teatree or pomegranate - is full of mint. Then I found this brand, Lavera, at a health convention at Earls Court. I'm so relieved to find that H&B stock it, too. I do agree with the other reviewer: I find I have to use about twice as much as other pastes, i.e. about two peas worth. And it is less firm that others, but the benefits are tremendous. My health has improved. My mouth is genuinely clean (rather than being given the false impression of cleanliness from an overwhelming taste). And I am so pleased with this product that I will continue to buy it - even if I have to fly to Germany to get it! p.s. I also love their deodorant!

Rated 2 out of 5 by CB123 from A natural alternative This toothpaste has a very mild minty taste. The consistancy is rather thin so you end up using the tube rather quickly. Didn't feel it cleaned teeth as well as other natural toothpastes on the market. Sorry Lavera!
