Rated 5 out of 5 by Add your own flavours... Once you've softened and cooked the soya chunks, you can add any flavours you like - they can be curry, Mediterranean, Chinese, anything at all. And when they;re completely softened, they have the consistency of well-cooked pork or chicken. My favourite is to cook the chunks with onions in a vegetable stock cube then add cheese sauce. If you get the balance right, it magically turns into chicken supreme!! Yum! 09 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great source of proteins I love these soya chunks, they can be re rehydrated quickly and can be mixed with other foods (vegetables, etc). They have a nice texture. I have not found them elsewhere. 08 October 2013

I usually balk at TVP, but this has a really good taste, and I love the texture too, as it doesn't just melt in the mouth like tofu - if you don't soak them for at least the recommended 30 mins though, they can be a bit chewy, so watch out for that! I soak them in stock and have found sesame the best oil to add, as I like its strong flavour. 28 February 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent product with 75G of protein for 100g These provide an excellent and cheap healthy source of protein for vegetarians. They are versatile so you can rehydrate in stock with added garlic chillies or whatever you like. Once rehydrated you can cut them as you like before cooking. They are bland and can be a little bit chewy and almost meaty so are not to everyone's taste, hence 4 stars. The mince versions are excellent too. 04 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Great value at the price. Personally I prefer Quorn as a meat-free alternative in terms of taste and texture, but these are great if you don't have a freezer/fridge/space in your freezer/space in your fridge and I imagine that they are cheaper too. 05 June 2013
