Rated 5 out of 5 by Expensive but good I can only afford to buy this when its on special offer as it is very expensive when a pack lasts for just a week or maybe two using just 2 or 3 teaspoons a day in coffee/on cereal. However it seems to be the best alternative to the chemical filled sweeteners (which includes those hidden in many of the stevia based replacements) if you want to avoid sucrose and/or fructose. So I bear the high cost for those reasons - and for the fact that a) it tastes good and b) the sweetness doesn't deteriorate when heated, unlike many other substitutes. If only it didn't cost so much! 03 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tastes just like the real thing. Best sweeter I have tasted, no aftertaste. Downside quite pricey 22 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Tasting I was put onto this by my sister, who tells me this is the closest thing to sugar you can buy, and unlike sugar it's actually GOOD for your teeth. I don't mind sweeteners in tea but had yet to find anything that tasted remotely like sugar in coffee, but this comes pretty close. It's great sprinkled on cereals and fruit and can also be used for baking. I'm really happy with this and will be buying it again. 18 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Xylitol is my go-to sweetener I love Xylitol, it honestly has ZERO aftertaste. I'm a low carb/paleo lifestyler of about 2 years and when I bake cakes or muffins with almond or coconut flour I use TotalSweet as my sweetener of choice. Try it, I promise you no one will know it's not sugar! Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's completely worth it. 12 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than ordinary sugar Have been using for a few years now. It is expensive, but a better alternative to ordinary sugar; Less sweet and sickly, but sweetens to the right amount as I really want to safeguard my teeth. Don't have to use so much of it once your palate gets used to it. Also hard to find outside of H&B. 01 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks like & tastes like sugar Great alternative to sugar it's a lot more expensive so not used it for cooking cakes etc I use it in hot drinks only it has no after taste like other sweeteners. You 100% can't tell the difference. You only need to use 1/2 to normal sugar. 03 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT!!! Just like sugar....tastes no different....only downside is I wish it was slightly cheaper!!!!!! 11 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tastes as good as sugar The fact that I drink my tea when using this instead of sugar and noticed no difference says it all. I cannot stand the taste of anything aspartame (or similar) so this non chemical sugar substitute is great. If you really pay attention you may notice that it is not as overpoweringly sweet as sugar, but it is the closest tasting substitute to sugar I have tasted. Perhaps a bit expensive, but hopefully as more people use it the price will start to drop. 13 September 2013
