How does performance lean work?
When you are creating a calorie deficit, aka consuming less calories than your body is burning by eating less, moving more or both, your body is going to look around for other energy sources. Your body will use fat for fuel first, only turning to your muscles and other protein sources if you don’t eat and starve your body of all fat reserves. However, if you don’t get enough protein from your diet, you will struggle to gain muscle, or even experience muscle loss. This rings even more true when you are exercising or training, because if your muscles become torn and you don’t feed your body enough protein to rebuild them then they may decrease in size.

Use 2-3 servings of Lean Protein daily to help tone and maintain a lean physique. Do not exceed stated dose. For Men: Add 2 scoops (approximately 50g) of Lean Protein to 400ml of ice cold water or low fat milk and shake for 10 seconds.
