As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to develop, families and communities across the country have been impacted both financially and emotionally as a result of this pandemic.
We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, and we want to try and do all we can to give back to our colleagues, customers and communities, as a way of thanking them for their ongoing commitment and support during this time. We have launched a nationwide initiative to roll-out special product bundles worth £600,000 to hospital trusts.
These hand-picked care packages selected by our teams and will include hand washes, hand creams, moisturisers, sanitisers and healthy snacks and vitamins to help provide vital support to NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.
We donated over 2,000 bottles of Vitamin D to The Felix Project to be distributed with essential food packages throughout the boroughs of London to various shelters, churches and groups of the elderly people stuck at home at risk of deficiency.
We believe in wellness for all, that’s why as part of our wellness commitment, we gave each and every one of our colleagues a free bottle of Vitamin C & D to support their immunity ahead of the winter season.
In these unprecedented times, our NHS staff are working round the clock in difficult conditions to protect our country throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
We’re offering 10% NHS discount on all our products in store and online.
We have introduced a ‘Pennies digital donation’. This will give you the option to add a 50p top-up donation when paying for your purchases to help support the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Urgent Appeal.
So far, we've raised over £75,000 out of our £100,000 target and received an Honorable Mention from Pennies for this achievement.
