CBD (cannabidiol) is an ingredient naturally sourced from hemp plants that are bred for nutritional purposes. The CBD is primarily extracted from hemp paste, made from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant.
CBD oil is legal in the UK, as long as it is manufactured in a way that does not result in unacceptable levels of undesirable substances - such as THC, the psychoactive substance in Cannabis.
A few drops of the oil can be put under the tongue 2-3 times a day. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. CBD Capsules should be taken according to label instructions. CBD can also be found within beauty products that can be applied topically.
CBD is not addictive. The CBD in the products we sell is standardised to contain less than 0.05% THC, a level well below the amount considered to result in any psychoactive effect – with some being THC free also.
As with all food supplements, we always recommend that you talk with your GP first if you are taking any medication.
CBD is not suitable for anyone under 18 years of age.
