If you have a hard time falling asleep, it can be a tough cycle to break. But the Beurer DreamLight can help you drift off to sleep naturally, avoiding the need to turn to medication. It works by projecting a subtle pulsing light onto your ceiling, which your breathing pattern will begin to follow, helping you relax and drift into a rested sleep. There are 2 breathing patterns to choose from; a relaxation technique with a 4-second inhale and 6-second exhale, or the popular 4-7-8 yoga technique.
The intelligent ball design allows you to angle the light to suit your sleep position. A simple touch-button switches the light on and off, or you can choose to set the automatic switch-off function for 8 or 20 minutes.

“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Beurer Dream Light SL10 for 2 month now I like it because it reminds me to do the breathing technique however there is space for improvement to this device. 1. Instructions are packed with tech and safety data and very minimal on application guidance (which you need to look for deep in the manual). Perhaps a separate short leaflet with images would be useful. 2. It's not very intuitive. The "min" and "annotation of breathing" couldn't be placed under the button with duration and technique above. 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY the light is "smooth illumination" which make it hard to to know when to breathe in, hold and out (most times I have to count in my mind which defeat the purpose of the device). With "relax" function I'm not sure to breath in and hold until light complete the cycle then breathe out and hold with 2nd cycle or follow in/out with 1 cycle (I find it too fast). 478 is even harder to follow without counting. After a while you pick up the rhythm. Perhaps if the light would go wide with in breath, then stay in shape with hold and narrow with out breath it would be easier to follow. Currently I have to very carefully watch the intensity of the light. 4. Blue light at bed time is an absolute NO NO! It would disrupt your circadian rhythm making your brain think it's mid day. However I found it useful using this in the morning when I wasn't to wake up and set my nervous system in a calm state with 478. 5. Which leads us to another suggestion for improvement which is built in alarm clock (it could have a clock with seconds displayd to make it easier to follow if still unsure with the rhythm of light and maybe a vibration function to wake you up and perhaps even follow the breath if you would like to do it with eyes closed). This would make this an absolute must have for me. Finally the best thing about it is the quality and the design of the device. It looks beautiful, feels sold, the light sets a beautiful atmosphere, its amazing for some me time :).”

“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did help me sleep eventually but it took me several frustrating nights trying to adapt my breathing to the pulsing lights. I did not find it very easy to fit my breathing to either of the patterns but eventually I got the natural (non-yoga) breathing technique with the blue light and I think this did help me sleep in the end.”

“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as I’d been having trouble falling asleep. Easy and simple to use, no noise to disturb sleep. Cute shape. Did it work? Yes after the 1st couple of nights (I was too busy watching the lights and changing the colours and playing with the timer at 1st). Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Although I don’t use it every night, I have pulled it out when I’m struggling to fall asleep.”

“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product to help you to sleep easier and quickly. The dreamlite has 2 different breathing techniques; yoga and relaxation. Both help you to have a conscious breathing ryhmn, I've found it to help me feel relaxed. The pulsing light projects onto your rooms celling which gives you a feeling of calamity. It has red or blue light option, and dont worry about forgetting to turn it off as it has an automatic switch off setting from 8 minutes to 20 minutes. It has definitely helped me feel relaxed and drift off to sleep easier.”

“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited about this product as I really struggle getting off to sleep on a night. Its a really nifty little product. It comes with a holder for it to sit in too. It has 2 different breathing techniques which are meant to help you fall asleep easier and to help you relax.it also has a pulsing light projection in red or blue colour which projects onto the ceiling. You can choose the RELAX option or the 4-7-8 technique option using the button on the back of the dream light. Both techniques are effective but I prefer the 4-7-8 as it works much better for me personally. I also love the automatic switch off and you can also choose between 8 or 20 mins therefore saving the battery life. I love this product and it definitely helps me drop off to sleep much quicker now. So if your struggling to get to sleep on a night this is something I would definitely recommend.”
