CRU Kafe Organic Decaf Coffee Bags x10
Naturally light, this Peruvian bean is a fantastically versatile bean with a range and depth perfect for those looking for an enjoyable, easy-drinking decaf. The immense altitudes amongst the cloud forests of Cajamarca in North-West Peru just seems to be one of those areas that was made for growing coffee. The high altitude, good sun, and just the right amount of rainfall are all reasons why this area is the place to source high quality, organically certified coffees. But this area in particular, and Peru in general, is seeing first hand what climate change is doing to coffee production. Decreasing rainfall and rising temperatures are shifting the scales in an ecosystem that just cannot cope with it, whilst growing cases of coffee rust and the increase in pests encouraged by the warming climate are making crop management unbearable.
CRU Kafe was founded in London in 2013 to bring delicious ethical, Organic coffees to the masses. We believe in balancing purpose with profit, which is why we have been certified as a B-Corporation. We support our local and grower communities and try hard to limit our impact on the environment - that's why we only ever source organic and Fairtrade coffees and you'll find us supporting charities both in London and in our grower communities.
