No wringing function
“Not sure why I'm being asked to review this again but here goes...I just want to warn shoppers that there is no functionality allowing you to wring out this mop - you can't, as I assumed, fold the end in half to squeeze out excess water. You basically need a mop bucket with a strainer for this product to work without excess water all over your floors, which is very annoying if the reason you bought a mini mop was the lack of storage space for cleaning stuff. Since posting my first review I've discovered a workaround for the problem of excess water: after mopping the floor as best you can without being able to wring the mop properly, swap the wet cloth on the end for a fresh dry one and use that to dry off the floor. But it's highly inconvenient. For classic mop jobs like mopping up a spillage this is basically useless without a mop bucket. Given that the mop doesn't work properly without one, why doesn't this retailer sell them?!”

HUGE design flaw
“The instructions for this product say: "Wet mop head thoroughly with water and wring." My question is: HOW, exactly? I just assumed when I bought this product that there would be a mechanism for the end holding the e-cloth to fold in half and squeeze the excess water out. (I've used a few sponge-head mops that work this way.) But there isn't! I assume you're meant to buy a mop bucket so you can use the strainer bit to wring it? I don't have a mop bucket, so I just tried plunging the end into a dry sink in the hope of doing some semblance of wringing. But it didn't work well enough and I ended applying way more water to the floor than is sensible for vinyl tiles. Afterwards I had to dry off the whole floor by hand with paper towels - I might as well have just used dampened paper towels to clean it in the first place and saved myself the money I spent on this product. This product is a lovely idea in theory but the lack of a wringing mechanism is a HUGE design flaw and a dealbreaker for me.”
