It contains the following four samples; St Clements - Solid Shampoo for Oily Hair If you struggle with oily hair then Saint Clements is for you. We use lime & orange oils to balance oil production, clean the scalp and freshen your hair up. Leaves your hair perfect without the need for a conditioner as there are humectants in this bar which draw moisture to your hair, without the oil. Perfect!
Wonderbar - solid Conditioner for Normal to Dry Hair
As the name would suggest our Wonderbar is truly wonderful. A solid conditioner bar that doubles as a shaving bar and an in-shower moisturiser for those with sensitive skin. Not only that but it lasts up to five months with regular use and smells fantastic. Coconut oil alongside cocoa butter and Vitamin B5 make this super effective and guilt free.
In Your Face - Solid Face Cleanser for Normal or Oily Skin
Ever seen how amazing your skin is after swimming in the sea? We have based In Your Face on the sea, most importantly its salt content. IYF is made with coconut oil, mandarin & sweet orange essential oils, cocoa butter and lots of sea salt. IYF is designed as a face cleanser, but works for those with skin that is prone to break out. It smells amazing and is perfect as an all over body wash for all skin types and body parts. IYF has a gentle lather and can help soothe irritated and acneic skin.
Gingersnap - Solid Face Scrub for All Skin Types
Wet face and an oval bar with warm water. Buff in small circles into face. When product has been deposited on skin, put cube down and massage into skin until the sugar is dissolved. Rinse with warm water.
Each sample weighs between 10-20g giving you ample chance to try each product. The samples come in a chocolate box style package, which is 100% compostable.

Great for hair, not so great for the body
“This trial pack has been discontinued by Ethique but my local Holland & Barrett were still stocking them and had a BOGOF offer so I got a good deal. I’ve used Ethique solid shampoo and conditioner before and had high expectations and wasn’t disappointed. Both gave me great results but I don’t think they’d be moisturising enough for someone with very dry hair. I also love the face cleanser which cleans really well without that tight drying feeling afterwards that you can get from soap. The only dud product of the 4 is the body butter. I found it impossible to apply, like rubbing a candle on my skin. The little product that did come off left me feeling like s sticky wax crayon. That said these are a great way to test these products before committing to buying (or not) the full sized versions.”

Crumbly and drying
“I really didn’t get on well with this product. I found both the moisturiser and cleansing bar crumbly and had the worst dry skin I’ve ever had in my life after using them. Haven’t tried the shampoo yet but am worried that it will dry my skin out like the cleanser and moisturiser did. I binned about 3/4 of the ones I tried and have gone back to my well known high street brand of plastic free products.”

“Great to be able to try everything. Face scrub and wash are lovely and my skin does not feel dry. Shampoo didn’t leave you hair heavy or greasy like others. Conditioner bar is great but with really long hair, needed to use a little extra hydrating conditioner for dry ends.”

“This is my first time trying all of these products in solid bar form and I’m really impressed! They work great, the shampoo really foams up and conditioner leaves hair lovely and soft. Cleanser & scrub also work perfectly fine too. I am definitely going to purchase the full sized products and it feels so good to know how much plastic I will be reducing!”

“Very pleasant products and nice to try a range of items. Everything is very gentle and incredibly subtly scented. The shampoo is great, no lather whatsoever takes some getting used to but my hair is clean and soft after use. The conditioner is nice, not really needed with the shampoo being so mild but my hair is on the oily side. The face soap is lovely, and the body bar is good though not as moisturizing as the packaging blurb would imply, you need a fair bit to notice a moisturizing effect. All in all a lovely way to try a few things without having to buy full size.”

“Really love this product! The samples are large enough to try a few times to get a feel of whether they suit you or not. This is my first try with shampoo and conditioner bars (hence why I bought this small pack) and I’m glad I did as I don’t think the shampoo suits my hair but they all work great! Will definitely be buying the full size products (but know to try a different shampoo bar). Definitely recommend”

Directions:
St Clements - Solid Shampoo for Oily Hair Thoroughly wet your hair. Swipe the bar several times through your roots. Put the bar down. Work the product through your hair, it will lather up! Rinse and follow with conditioner if you need to. Wonderbar - Solid Conditioner for Oily or Normal Hair After shampooing, slide the wet bar down your wet hair 4-5 times. Put the bar down and massage the conditioner into your locks. Leave for 1-2 minutes. Rinse and feel the magic! In Your Face - Solid Face Cleanser Simply wet the bar and your face. Rub the bar between your hands until you have developed a lather, then apply lather to your face. Massage in, then rinse. Gingersnap - Solid Face Scrub Wet face and an oval bar with warm water. Buff in small circles into face. When product has been deposited on skin, put cube down and massage into skin until the sugar is dissolved. Rinse with warm water.
