First Response can detect the pregnancy hormone as early as 6 days sooner than the day of your missed period (5 days before day of expected period). The amount of pregnancy hormone increases as pregnancy progresses.* * The ""day of your missed period"" means the day after your period is due. The First Response Early Results kit can be used up to 6 days before the day of your missed period. **The First Response kit is over 99% accurate when used on the day of your missed period, your due date and the day prior to your due date. The Kit is 62% acccurate when used 6 days before the day of your missed period.

Directions:

Holding the FIRST RESPONSE™ Early Result Pregnancy Test stick by the thumb grip with the absorbent tip pointing downward and the result window away from your body, place the absorbent tip in your urine stream for 5 seconds only. With the absorbent tip still pointing downwards replace the overcap* and lay the stick on a flat surface with the result window facing up. Wait 3 minutes until reading the result. You may also collect your urine in a clean, dry cup and immerse the entire absorbent tip in the urine for 5 seconds. *Replacement of the overcap is necessary for the proper functioning of the test.
