- Flaxseed oil, also known as Linseed oil, is an excellent natural source of Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential additions to the diet.
- Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect can be obtained with a daily intake of 2g of ALA from food and supplements.

Misleading information on packaging
“I’m using this product for many years now and usually purchase larger bottles as it’s my everyday supplement! I’m very happy with the product, however looking at the label I expected 1000mg in a capsule but this is not a case at all so now I will have to take 4 capsules where the bottle will only last me 15 days.. the labels needs changing as it is not 1000mg but 500mg considering that the bottle which have 1000mg strength in one capsule say the same thing it’s just unacceptable! I’m only scoring 1 due to the misleading information so it will get detected and changed by H&B overall very happy with the supplement!”
