By analysing 20 vital health markers, the General Health Blood Test checks your body's main systems for many common conditions that can seriously impact your wellbeing. Many of these conditions don’t have symptoms, so your test results can let you know if anything is amiss and give you a useful starting point for your next doctor’s appointment.

You can take an Ivie blood test in four simple steps. Here's how it works:
1.Register your test – download the free Ivie Wellness app to register your test kit
2.Take your sample – collect your sample with a simple finger-prick test. No preparation needed.
3.Send it back – pop your test in your nearest priority post box between Monday & Thursday using our pre-paid postage envelope.
4.Get your results – view your doctor-reviewed results in the app within 48 hours.

“Reading the reviews, I was hesitant to order this and was worried I wouldn’t be able to fill the tubes. But when I actually did it, it was super easy and I managed to easily fill both tubes just from one finger. Just follow the instructions and make sure to warm up a little bit. The process straight forward and painless. I’ll be looking at doing this test every 6-12 months from now on.”

“I was delighted to receive this as a gift which offered a wide range of blood tests. However I too struggled to fill one vial of blood despite using 3 separate fingers taking around 30 to 40 minutes. I think the amount of blood required though understandable is not realistic from a finger prick. I haven't got my results yet so it will be interesting to see what has been possible with the blood I managed to extract. Feels overpriced and overpromised. Why not at least offer the option to select priority preferences”

After following all the advice to fill up the vials, it did take me all 3 fingers to do but wasn’t a long or painful process at all. “Bought this test, easy to use you have to make sure you warm up and get the blood flowing take a hot shower do star jumps or run your hands under the tap this will improve blood flow and make it easier to collect blood, I sent off my test and had results next day in the app. Thorough test would recommend”

In very hot weather, it's vital to post your blood sample as close to your postbox collection times as possible.
Posting your sample close to collection times helps stop it from getting too hot in the postbox, which can increase the failure rate once it reaches our lab.
