Description:
This easy finger-prick blood test checks your levels of testosterone – a vital sex hormone made my both males and females.
In males, testosterone plays a key role in sex drive, fertility, mood and muscle mass.
Women produce testosterone too – but just in smaller amounts. If you’re female, testosterone helps your body maintain bone health, vaginal health, breast health and fertility.
What time should I take this test?
You should take your testosterone test first thing in the morning, between 7 and 10 a.m. This is when your testosterone levels are at their highest.

“Very simple process.. although there was a bit of confusion (for me) because the pack says fill both vials, and the app says only fill one (the other is a spare).. anyway i filled both.. just :) From then it was just a case of posting the package and awaiting my result, which popped up in the app 2 or 3 days later. I'll probably repeat the process in a years time.”

“The hardest part of the whole process was filling both vials with blood. It’s entirely possible just have patience. It barely hurt and the plasters and wet wipes they provide in the pack worked a treat. I filled out the form, then filled the vials, then posted it in the envelope that’s already filled in for you. It says to post in a priority postbox but we posted in a regular Tesco postbox and I had my realists on the app the next evening. Incredibly straightforward and fast.”

Posting your sample close to collection times helps stop it from getting too hot in the postbox, which can increase the failure rate once it reaches our lab.
