The MGO 70 rating on this Manuka Doctor product is a measurement of its MGO (Methylglyoxal) levels and its other benefit – its antibacterial properties. Simply sipped from a spoon, added to your meal or dissolved in water or perhaps a smoothie, Manuka honey helps calm sore throats.
DHA, found in Manuka Bush nectar, undergoes the Maillard reaction to form MGO. Manuka Doctor Manuka honey is certified by the New Zealand government, too.
Originating from the Manuka bush (Leptospermum Scoparium) that’s indigenous to New Zealand, bees pollinate them but also visit other types of plants further away, meaning this product is ‘multifloral’.
