Studies suggest that you should eat between 1.6g to 1.8g of protein for every 1kg you weigh to gain muscle.
However, you must do heavy weight training alongside this to build actual muscle mass.
When taken alongside a healthy, balanced, and controlled diet, Serious Mass can help you build muscle and gain mass.
That is because you need to eat more calories than you burn to put on weight.
However, not everyone can eat the large amounts of food required to gain a significant amount of weight.
To put on muscle mass, you need protein, as it is easier to turn into muscle.
If you were to eat too many fatty or high-carb foods, your body would simply store them as fat, not muscle.
For the first week, you may find it easier to take ½ scoop to allow your body to adjust to the increased protein intake.
Increase this amount to one or more full servings a few times a day.
Simply add two heaped scoops into a blender along with 710ml non or low-fat milk and then blend for 45 to 60 seconds.
This will result in a creamy shake – especially if you throw a few ice cubes into the blender.
Alternatively, you can simply prepare it with water and shake it thoroughly, using a shaker cup.
Serious Mass is a versatile protein drink.
Depending on your nutrition goals, you can add your favourite fruits, such as banana and strawberries, nut butter, flaxseeds, and other tasty ingredients to support your weight gain progress.
