Throat Coat is a liquid herbal preparation in a vegetable glycerine base, delivered as a spray rather than a lozenge or a drink. Glycerine is a thick, naturally sweet-tasting liquid, and it is what gives the product its characteristic coating texture when sprayed into the mouth.
