This certified organic, gentle oil-based mask helps to draw out impurities caused by pollution and everyday grime, whilst hydrating and soothing the complexion.
Matcha Tea and Kaolin draw out impurities and detoxify the skin, whilst carefully selected essential oils, including Rosemary and Patchouli Oil, calm and soothe the complexion. Jojoba and Shea Butter hydrates the complexion, helping to lock in moisture and regulate sebum production. As a waterless formulation, the beautiful oils act as a natural preservative whilst providing maximum efficacy

Take a small amount and apply to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. As you gently spread the product over your face, the warmth from your fingers will turn the putty texture into a smooth oil mask. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Remove with a warm, wet cloth. For a more luxurious experience, leave the jar to soak in warm water for 5 minutes before applying. For best results, use 2-3 times a week. Combine with a pinch of Gentle Superfood Exfoliator to create an exfoliating mask.
Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Keep out of direct sunlight Avoid eye area

“This was the first time I used this mask today and the last. First of all you need to smooth the desired quantity in a Bain Marie because the paste in the pot is very hard. Secondly it is extremely har d to remove. I do not know the ingredients apart from matcha but you end up with a very oily concoction on the skin. They recommend removing the mask with a hot cloth! This won't do, I had to go in the shower and rub my skin with a face brush.”

“I bought other items from true skincare which are great but this mask is solid in the pot and it stained my top so I won’t be buying it again”

“This has slowly become my favourite mask and I will continue to repurchase; I love this brand! Before I bought it I had read the reviews and it was 50/50. Some people loved it and some people hated it. I decided to take the dive anyway and try it, and what I've come to realise is, the people who rated it low and were complaining about its ease of use may have been using it wrong. When you open the jar you'll notice it's essentially a thick brick of clay, but what you should actually do is submerge the jar is hot water for a couple minutes and then the clay will melt into a liquid so you can apply it onto your face. The second issue people had was with the removal of the mask. It's an oil based clay mask, so you can't remove it just by washing it off with water (oils and water do not mix). So instead you have to take a damp cloth (I would a damp Muslin cloth or bamboo makeup remover pad) to take it off. The result was my face was soft, it was glowing, and over a couple of weeks to a month I noticed my congestion on my skin were gone, and my pores clear. It's no longer on the True Skincare website, so I hope it stays restocked on Holland and Barrett.”

“I wasn't sure weather to buy this because of some of the reviews, but I honestly don't agree. My skin is super sensitive but this didn't irritate at all, in fact it left my skin feeling lovely and smooth. I had no problems getting the product off my skin, came off easy with a warm, damp cloth. It has quite a earthy smell but I don't mind that, just shows how natural it is. I would definitely recommend warming it up by putting the pot in some warm water so it melts a little, but it already says that on the packaging.”
