Changed my cycle - do not recommend!
“These vitamins extended my (very regular, 26-day) cycle by 6 days, which is not at all helpful for trying to conceive. From reading online, this seems to be a not uncommon experience for women taking Pregnacare. Would not recommend and now use an own-brand folic acid + vitamin D combination.”

Please don’t take these!
“I bought these tablets a few months ago in preparation for trying for a baby. It says you can begin taking up to 3 months before to prepare your body. I have taken 5 days worth (from 1st of the month, which was when I was due on my period anyway) and my period has not come. I don’t usually write reviews and I take others with a pinch of salt but this is so unusual for me. Not what I want at this time of life!”

Conceived in a month
“This is the second time I've used this product. I've got fertility issues and have been told that I wouldn't be able to conceive . Gave up no hope .... First try it took 2 months on these tablets. Gave birth to a healthy cheeky girl. Second try... only a month and I'm 3 weeks pregnant. If you do take them. Do take them on a full stomach as they make you feel sick. And do track your periods and ovulation as that will also help too.”

“Took these as trying to conceive. They completely ruined my cycles. Caused spotting in between periods for months and made me extremely moody and caused very greasy skin. I felt like I was on a period every single day for 3 months. I came off them and instantly stopped spotting and all period symptoms stopped. I will just be taking folic acid and vit D from now. Please do not buy these!!!!”

“Brought these a couple days ago.. took my first one yesterday morning was fine the whole day. Throughout the night, I was having stomach cramps, nausea, burping etc. I was in so much discomfort to the point I couldn’t lay down. I had to sleep sitting up. Feeling so awful throughout the day and all of a sudden I starting burping and it smelt like rotten eggs mixed with hair removal cream or that hair perming smell. Hadn’t eaten all day and then I very quickly ran to the toilet and threw my guts up. My partner is normally very good with me being poorly but the smell was so bad he couldn’t even stand it. Been feeling slightly better since being sick but the stomach cramps and discomfort are still there. Burps still smelling like rotten eggs too. Considering I’ve only taken 1 tablet.. I definitely will not be carrying on with these tablets.”

Completely Messed up cycles and ovulation
“Never usually leave reviews but this has delayed my cycle. I had read reviews stating that the same thing happened to other women but couldn’t comprehend how a vitamin could do this. I have been using for a over a month and my period is late - I am not pregnant. Really disappointing when trying to conceive. The only positives were that I feel far more full of energy.”
