“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honest review from someone who rarely leaves reviews: I've looked for YEARS to find the right shampoo for my fine, combination hair. I felt like standard liquid shampoos made me greasy within a day or 2 and other bars I tried were too hard to wash out and left a film that weighed my hair down. I'm a big, big fan of Sweet & Spicy and have been using it exclusively for several years now. What my hair used to look like by Day 2 after a wash now takes 3 or 4 days after using this bar. I also feel like my hair is less flat/dull after air drying, which I've never really seen from other "volumizing" shampoos without a blow dry. Pro tip: when the bar starts to get a little soft, cut it in half! Save one half from being constantly subjected to shower conditions and you'll get some extra mileage.”

“This is my third time purchasing the Sweet & Spicy Shampoo Bar, and I can't imagine changing things up any time soon. I have fine hair that needs a boost, and this bar does that perfectly. I use it with the Ethique Wonderbar Conditioner, and couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend to people after silky more manageable hair that is both conditioned, and not weighed down.”

New favorite shampoo
“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been using bar shampoo for a few months (Target brand) and decided it was time for an upgrade. I've always loved how soft and full my hair gets when I go swimming in the ocean, and I feel like this bar gives me the same results. It's easy to use, lathers well, and gets my hair clean while also adding body and softness. I'm yelling at all of my friends about how they should try out this or the other Ethique shampoos now.”
