Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap protein I usually get 5 helpings/ servings out of 1 bag which means it's a cheap source of protein (52g of protein per 100g) that's low in fat. However, it isn't exactly tasty so I add a bit of tomato ketchup for flavour. 22 July 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not bad at all! This stuff is brilliant, doesn't look very appealing at first, but I tend to soak mine in Vegetable stock and Marmite for a better flavour. It fluffs up really nicely and is brilliant for stuffing peppers and making a Bolognese sauce! 17 October 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Savoury Soya Protein Mince I have purchased this product for some years, then, the Savoury Protein Mince, went from a dark brown colour to a light colour, very similar to the Natural Protein Mince. As a family we prefer the darker colour mince, when water is added to the mince there is a definite 'smell' which wasn't with the darker mince. 18 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely texture This is good soya mince; it absorbs flavour nicely and retains a "bite" without being dry. It is a little highly flavoured for my liking (more so than other soya minces) but this is easily overcome with a few extra herbs. Exceptional value. 11 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really great alternative! Have used this in a ragu sauce and it was great. Loved the texture and had a lot more "presence" in the sauce than I expected (I thought it would have disintegrated to be honest). Will definitely be using this healthier alternative instead of meat mince from now on and would buy this again. I prefer this a lot more than the soy chunks. 05 July 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great subsitute I discovered soya mince at a friends who made lasagne with it. It really surprised me and tasted that much better than with meat. I bought this to try it out and i can say that it great and very versatile. My only criticism is the calorie content, I was really gob smacked to discover how calorific this product is. 30 May 2016
