Rated 5 out of 5 by Great alternative Great alternative to oats. They make a chunkier porridge or can be made into course rye flour in a blender 11 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rye flakes Excellent quality and value. Purchased to mix with seeds, nuts and dried fruit to make my own muesli. 31 October 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A perfect alternitave Oats good.. Barley flakes good.. Rye flakes just as good. Combine all three and you get an excellent morning filler!! 27 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delicious and filling These rye flakes are more chewy than barley flakes, wheat flakes, or oat flakes, but they easily soften if you leave them to soak in milk or water for 10 minutes. Whether you eat them chewy or softened, they are filling and leave you feeling really satisfied. I think they taste delicious. They have a stronger taste than barley, wheat or oat flakes and the flavour reminds me of the rustic whiff you get inside a granary or a brewery - a combination of wholemeal bread, hops, and malt. I don't recommend these rye flakes if you like sweetened porridge. I think rye flakes work better with just milk or water plus a pinch of salt. 21 December 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Never tasted these before but thought i'd add some to my porridge mix along with other grains. It has a nutty flavour and a bit more bit than oats. A nice addition to my breakfast, Since they are rolled they cook in an instant. I'll be buying this regularly. 22 November 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too thick flake Be prepared to boil for a long time, I would rather not boil at all... but I have to with these. These are a middle thing between flakes and the whole grain, very hard. I use it for porridge I will say, but no good for that. 23 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product I liked the taste which is not sugary and goes well with porridge oats. 06 October 2016
