Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is a prickly and green and is native to Africa but cultivated around the world. It has leaves that can grown up to two feet long, and it bears spikes of yellow or orange flowers. The leaves contain a clear gel that is topically applied on the skin. A dried yellow sap taken from the leaf base is used internally.
