Holland & Barrett Group buy Julian Graves stores

NBTY Europe Limited, the parent company of Holland & Barrett, is pleased to announce the acquisition of high street competitor 'Julian Graves' health food stores from Icelandic retail investor Baugur.

The Holland & Barrett group is the leading health food retailer within Europe, with 544 Holland & Barrett stores in the UK and Ireland, 31 GNC stores in the UK and 71 De Tuinen stores in the Netherlands.

The acquisition of Julian Graves adds a store network of more than 345 outlets nationwide specialising in natural food and health products, taking the group chain up to just under 1000 stores.
