Rated 5 out of 5 by Acanthe from Good product! I know some people have complained this product was a bit bland - and there are days when it feels like this. But funny enough, I noticed this has a lot to do with what you have eaten before, how sensitive your taste buds are and so on. The Granovita Nut Luncheon itself is a little bit sweet and it's great when you add spices or condiments. I will also try frying it like a schnitzel - but you can add it to salads or as a replacement for chicken meat and so on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GreeneyedGirl from Versatile and delicious! I remember this when it was called Nuttolene, upwards of thirty years ago and was so chuffed to find that H&B stock it under its new name. I've been vegetarian for 30 years and it's the best tasting and most versatile meat substitute I've ever come across. Great sliced cold as 'luncheon meat', thickly sliced and browned in the oven or chopped up and added to just about any recipe. The only downside is mastering the 'getting out of the tin', but once you have you feel smug and as if you've earned your stripes :) (Okay, open both ends of the can, remove one end only, run a thin sharp knife around between the 'meat' and the inside of the tin, then brace the other end against something long and hard - hubby holding a broom handle would do! - and push the meat out. Remove the other end.) Not so easy if the can is dented but worth the effort. I keep loads of this is the cupboard as a go-to staple. Great stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Henrysgirl from A cupboard staple Don't know how I would cope without some tins of Nut Luncheon in my store cupboard. It can be eaten raw, grilled, fried or baked, on it's own or in recipes or sandwiches. A must-have for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pop22 from Great product, simple but yummy First thought was that it looks unappetizing, but I'm soo thankful I've come across this! Being gluten-free, I struggle with lots of nut loaves so this is a good alternative. The best thing is you can eat it hot or cold! So when I want a snack I literally open a tin and eat it with a spoon straight from the tin, took some camping recently and they're great for energy / nutrition / something different. Otherwise as a side with salad etc. Have also tried it grilled and toasted / sliced. Give it a bit of a different texture and taste and also so yummy, they've become my new favourite thing. I've stocked up!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rosal45 from Great product. Poor condition of tins This is a popular product for the whole family. I ordered this product as I have many times before, online. I was very disappointed to find on receipt that out of the 15 tins ordered, 9 were dented. Anyone who eats this product regularly will know that this is a problem as it effects how the product is removed from the tin. I feel as if I have been sent sub-standard products which would never have found their way onto a Holland and Barrett shop shelf. I have therefore been penalised for ordering online.
