Our Mushroom Barleyotto is a wonderfully comforting dish. Made with a combination of button, chestnut, and porcini mushrooms, the barleyotto boasts a rich earthy flavour that is complemented by the notes of nuttiness of barley and the creaminess of brown rice.
Cooked with a splash of white wine and finished with a plant-based cream alternative, this is a truly decadent dish.

Directions:
Microwave 700w/800w. Agitate pouch content. Cut off the top of the pouch just under the tear notch. Heat on full power for 2 mins. Leave to stand for 1 min. Stir and serve.

Our Mushroom Barleyotto stands out for its source of fibre, low in fat and sugar and exceptional taste. Unlike traditional risottos that rely heavily on heavy cream and butter, our recipe uses a plant-based alternative to cream, making it lower fat without sacrificing creaminess texture.Limiting our daily intake of saturated fat to less than 20g per day for women and 30g per day for men is recommended.
