Do you spontaneously feel like the typical spicy taste of pumpkin spice during the cold, bleak autumn months? With this easy-to-prepare vegan pumkin spice latte you will get into the autumn mood. Ideal for Halloween, an autumn walk through the woods or just to enjoy at home.
Pumkin spice, also known as pumpkin spice, is a spice mix that originated in America. It is often used to add flavor to a pumpkin pie, but you can also use it for a delicious pumpkin spice latte. This pumpkin latte is vegan and ready in minutes.
150 ml plant-based milk (almond milk or oat milk)
1 level tablespoon steamed or cooked pumpkin
2 pieces of cloves
A little ginger (to taste)
A little bit of orange zest (to taste)
A pinch of cardamom
A pinch of cinnamon
Optional: vegan whipped cream
1
Mash the pumpkin until smooth
2
Heat the vegetable milk in a pan, together with the herbs, orange zest and mashed pumpkin. Heat it well while you whisk it lightly. Pass this through a fine sieve to remove any coarse bits and cloves
3
Place hot espresso or coffee substitute in a large mug
4
Add the milk mixture of vegetable milk and spices to the coffee. Add honey or stevia as needed. The pumpkin already has a sweet taste on its own, so a lot of sweetener is not necessary
5
Finish it off by sprinkling with cinnamon. Optionally, you can also add some vegan whipped cream to make your pumkin spice latte extra festive.
