The soft and fleshy petals of the banana blossom have a chunky, flaky texture that makes them an ideal substitute for fish. And just like jackfruit, there’s very little in the way of flavour so the only limit is your imagination.
Try dipping some in batter and lightly frying until golden. Serve with chips, of course!
