Nutrients per serving:
- 80ml vegetable oil
- 180g oats *
- 175g medjool dates * (chopped)
- 2 bananas sliced
- 50g sunflower seeds *
- 50g sultanas *
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tpn cinnamon * (optional)
Pre-heat your oven to 175C.
Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
Add the dates and oil to the bananas and mix together.
Stir in the oats, vanilla essence, sunflower seeds and sultanas. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, so the oats absorb the oil.
Line a baking tray with grease-proof paper, and spoon in the mixture.
Bake at 175C for about 25-30 minutes.
Leave it to cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
