“Awful compared to the previous gluten free organic oats I always used to buy from you for years. These ones had a nasty bitter taste and lots of crunchy bits left in. Smaller oats than normal too. I certainly wouldn't describe them as jumbo. I'm glad I only bought 2 bags to test them out. I think they are going to be an acquired taste if I can't find another supplier of oats that are both organic or gluten free. On the plus side, the new packaging is better because it's more compact.”

Why the change?
“I’ve been buying the GLUTEN FREE JUMBO OATS for years now and have enjoyed them so much but something has changed with the quality recently, whether it’s the manufacturers or new suppliers but they’re awful! The oats are not jumbo, they’re small and taste like dust. There are also kernels which weren’t there before. I’m afraid until the older and better version come back I won’t be buying any more. Sorry.”

“I have bought this product many times from H&B but now discover they have changed the packaging and size. Personally I feel that this size is too much and would like to see them sell it again in the original size as it was before as it was better for storing it in the cupboard thank you H&B”

“These are awful. They taste old and really really chewy. Even when cooked! They are half the size of the original gluten free oats. The only good thing is the packaging. It's smaller in size and more compact. Definitely would not recommend these - H&B Please bring the old GF Oats back and go back to your old supplier”
