About Dr Victoria
I am the Science and Evidence manager at Holland & Barrett, where I lead a team of science specialists who review the science behind key ingredients against our science review framework, which ensures our evidence-based approach to product development and communications. In this role I also lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes that underpin our science-led decision-making across the business. My role draws on a strong scientific background alongside extensive experience in programme and project management.
I hold a PhD in Immunology and began my career in academia as a post-doctoral researcher in a human oncology laboratory. After deciding to move away from academia, I retrained as a project manager in the security sector before transitioning into global clinical trials. Over the following 10 years, I worked across project management, programme management and client management roles, delivering large-scale, international clinical research programmes. My career combines deep scientific expertise with practical delivery experience, enabling me to bridge science, strategy and execution in fast-moving, regulated environments.
