Ingredients
- 280g medjool dates
- 200g pecans and Extra to decorate
- 3 tbsp raw cocoa powder
- 100ml tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
Method
Step 1
Make sure the dates do not contain pips before blitzing them in a food processor.
Step 2
Add the pecans and blitz again until the two are combined.
Step 3
Add the maple syrup, cocoa powder and 2-3 large spoons of peanut butter. Blitz until a sticky mixture is formed.
Step 4
Press the mixture firmly down into a lined baking tray and decorate with pecans.
Step 5
Place in the freezer for an hour or until it hardens. Once hard, take out of the freezer and cut into slices to serve.
