Really bad
“I was excited to try this, I love the brand and love the idea of the metal packaging, sadly it was a huge deception. The 1 star is only for the bottle. The conditioner is horrible. They are useless even for my husband and his short hair. I bought two and both will go to maybe use for hands and that's it, and they were not cheap at all. I had to buy a regular conditioner right after. I won't recommend this to anyone really and I won't buy it again either”

Disappointed, & disappointed that I'm disappointed
“I've tried to persevere with this shampoo, because I love the reuse / refill option, but I'm just not getting on with it. It seems very hard work to use, although it isn't a non lathering shampoo it feels like as soon as it's applied to my scalp it dissipates and doesn't lather very well. With other non lathering shampoos / hair cleansers, they've been far easier to spread all over my scalp. My hair feels squeaky clean after using it, but not in a good way. Feels quite dry and like it needs a lot of nourishment from a conditioner, which unfortunately the conditioner of the same range does not do either. I won't be ordering again, which I'm really disappointed with because I really wanted it to work for me because of the good environmental aspect.”

Fragrance free conditioner
“Very happy with this conditioner, it is fragrance free and it’s lovely on my long curly hair. It didn’t cause me any reactions as I have sensitive skin and various allergies. I love the fact that organic aloe juice is used as an ingredient rather than water. Very thin and spreadable, it also great for detangling. Exceeded expectations! Recommended.”

Really Wanted to Like This
“I love Beauty Kitchen and everything they're doing to make packaging more sustainable. I think their products are great quality, but unfortunately I had a similar experience to the other reviewer who said the conditioner just stays in your hair. I find sometimes products with coconut oil tend to do this; oils such as avocado or olive tend to not leave such a residue. If you have type 3 or 4 hair this might work for you (mine is more type 2a-2b).”

I wish I liked this product
“I was really excited for this conditioner.. I was really struggling to find something eco friendly and suitable for my hair type (thick and wavey) and conditioner bars werent really working for me.. However, it seems its almost impossible to wash this stuff out of your hair, even with an apple cider vinger rinse and it doesn't do a great job at conditioning either. My hair just drys and still looks greasey because the conditioner is still in there.. Unfortunately, I dont even think I can finish this bottle because it just doesnt work for me, at all. Maybe if you've got fine hair this would work? Either way I love the concept, will just have to continue searching for the right product for me.”
