A Caffeine Free South African Beverage
Dubbed ‘Rooibos’ meaning ‘red bush’ by the speakers of the Dutch Afrikaans language, this “tea†is only produced in South Africa. This one is from Cederberg mountains in South Africa, the home of rooibos where it is grown at an altitude of 1500 - 2500 ft.
Don't be fooled by the name, the plant itself is green but the leaves turn red after processing. This premium organic rooibos produces a rich liqour with sweet aroma and leaves a very smooth after taste. Can be enjoyed hot or iced.
Adding feather to the cap is the Great Taste Award conferred to this tea. The Great Taste judges have described this as, "An absolutely stunning deep amber with a pink hues and a sparkling clarity. A gentle woodiness in the flavour profile adds character and depth."Â
