This kinako latte blend is an authentic blend, with traditional Japanese heritage. It makes for an indulgent treat especially in the afternoon or evening when you are looking for something caffeine free and is perfect for hot days!
Japanese black soybeans are steamed, roasted, ground into a fine powder and combined with wasanbon sugar. Wasanbon sugar is a premium, fine Japanese sugar made from a rare sugarcane called chikusha (or taketou). Its signature melt-in-the-mouth texture and elegant sweetness are achieved through a painstaking, traditional hands-on refining process.
