Lifesaver - they really work

Definitely help BUT………
“So I’ve no doubt that these tablets have helped with my peri menopause symptoms. I’ve felt less anxious, definitely less moody (to my husband’s relief). But the longer I took them, the more sedated I felt, which wasn’t too bad but I didn’t always feel ‘in my head’. And also they give me headaches which is too much to cope with on a daily basis. Plus, now I’m not a heavy drinker, but I’ve had a couple of horrendous hangovers just from drinking a couple of glasses of wine the night before. Apparently it is best to avoid alcohol, especially red wine due to the tyramine levels. These tablets can also interact with a lot of other things; beer, cheese, bacon, cold and flu medicines, cough medicines, citric fruits, anything fermented. So for me, I stopped taking them as the negative points outweighed the positive, which is a shame as I do think they help with depression and anxiety.”

Depression lifted
“These have really helped me. Found them effective within 24 hours. I take 3 a day (disclaimer: the recommended dose is 1-2 per day, consult your GP) for the last 3 weeks. Have experienced these side effects; photosensitivity, late period, drug interaction with melatonin. Notice my mood drop if I miss a dose. I’m very satisfied and would recommend these, just be aware this is a real medication with powerful effects”

Each film-coated tablet contains: 334mg of extract (as dry extract) from St John’s Wort aerial parts (Hypericum perforatum L.) (5-7:1) (equivalent to 1670mg – 2338mg of St John’s Wort). Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60% v/v. Tablet core: Dicalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid. Tablet coating: Hypromellose, Iron Oxide Yellow (E172), Titanium Dioxide (E171), Purified Talc.
