Milkaid® Drops can be added to milk to reduce lactose content and then used on cereal and in drinks. Simply add three drops to 500ml of milk, gently shake and refrigerate for 24 hours. This will reduce the lactose level by approximately 70%. For an even greater reduction add ten drops, which will reduce the lactose level by approximately 96%. Once treated you can use the milk just like ordinary milk for cooking, on cereals or in beverages.

Lactase treated milk is exactly the same nutritionally, only the form of the milk sugar (lactose) has been altered and the milk will taste slightly sweeter. Milk treated with lactase enzyme can be used in exactly the same way as you would use ordinary milk, in beverages, cooking, making yoghurt, ice cream - or just straight from the bottle. It doesn't matter whether the milk is full fat, skimmed, or "long life" - all can be effectively and safely treated and without fear of triggering unpleasant symptoms

Directions:

Adults and children aged 1+ years: Add 3 drops of Milkaid per 500ml of milk and refrigerate for 24hrs. This will reduce the lactose level by approximately 70%. For an even greater reduction add 10 drops, which will reduce the lactose level by approximately 99%. Once treated you can use the milk just like ordinary milk for cooking, on cereals or in beverages. Do not use more than 64 drops in any 24 hour period.
