Pleasantly surprised
“I often use other brands in H&B that have less chemicals then the more popular brands in other shops and have struggled with them. They’re expensive, leave my hair dry but due to the reduced chemicals I’ve stuck with them at times. I found this H&B shampoo and conditioner exceeded the expectations I had. I strongly disagree that this is a watery shampoo (or conditioner). It does not have harsh chemicals in it so that’s a BIG thumbs up, it’s very reasonably priced (unlike similar ones “natural” ones with chemicals in), my only “bad” comment would be the smell. It’s a bit overpowering for me personally. I think I’ve become a bit used to it. It’s not a horrible smell, far from it. But just a tad overpowering after using it several times. My hair is extremely soft after using it and I can even skip using the conditioner due to how soft it makes my hair. Like most natural shampoos they don’t Lather as much as ones with harsh chemicals in. This shampoo does lather but compared to the ones riddled with chemicals, you obviously notice a difference. Regardless of the shampoo I always wash my hair twice with washing my hair twice every time the product has lasted well. I will defiantly purchase again and would advise others to not get put off by the “watery” comment. It’s possible it could have been a different batch but I never experienced this. Is more of a hair gel consistency than anything else.”

“It's so watery that I have to use so much in an attempt to clean my hair. And even while using A LOT (more than 2 handfuls), I still find it difficult to wash my roots well. Next time I'll try the Dr organic, where water is not the first ingredient!”

Great for a cheaper shampoo
“I bought this a few months ago in store, I usually buy the faith in nature shampoos but they didn’t have the one I wanted so I picked this up instead. I was pleasantly surprised with how it is vegan and free of many bad ingredients you find in shampoos. It is quite a good consistency and lathers up well (lather in hands first then apply to hair). I always double shampoo and follow with another conditioner (liz Earle). I would definitely buy this shampoo again! Leaves hair soft & clean for 2 days +”
