Line a cupcake tin with paper cases. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
In a jug, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, miso paste, milk and vanilla until smooth.
Sift the chickpea flour, baking powder and xanthan gum into a bowl. Pour in the wet mixture and stir until evenly combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips, then gently fold through the raspberries to keep them whole and well distributed.
Divide the mixture between the cupcake cases. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges pull slightly from the sides and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
