CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ contain oat bran powder which is rich in oat beta-glucan. Oat beta-glucan has been shown to lower blood cholesterol, when taking the recommended daily amount. One portion (30g) of CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ contains 3g of oat beta-glucan, enough to reduce your blood cholesterol levels. One sachet of CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ is equivalent to three bowls of regular porridge oats. It is also high in fibre and a good source of protein.
Empty one sachet of CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ into a bowl of cold milk or simply add to cereal, yogurt or eat as a convenient snack in between meals. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.
