What is it?
Holland & Barrett Evening Primrose Oil and Starflower Oil Supplement has been made to nourish your body with two fatty acids that it can’t make by itself: Linolenic Acid (LA) and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). These Evening Primrose Oil Supplements also contain vitamin B6, which contributes to the regulation of normal hormonal activity. Within the body Linoleic Acid is metabolised to GLA, which is essential for the production of certain hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Not all fatty acids can be made in the body and therefore must be supplied through diet or supplementation. Human breast milk is one of the richest natural sources of GLA, whilst LA can be found in safflower, hemp, and sunflower oils.

“Honestly I can't function without these tablets. Stopped taking them as I came off all contraceptives and thought my hormones would balance out but these little pockets of sunshine keep me sane!
