Not all fatty acids can be made in the body so must be supplied through diet or supplementation. Holland & Barrett Starflower Oil 1,500mg Plus Vitamin B6 provides the fatty acids Linoleic Acid (LA) and Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA). Within the body Linoleic Acid is metabolised to GLA, which is essential for the production of certain hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Also contains Vitamin B6 which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Starflower Oil is also known as Borage Oil. Rapid release Softgel capsules allows faster absorption by the body.
