“I bought this cup a year ago, and have only had to use pads or tampons a few times, because I had forgotten it. It lasts up to hours, once you get used to a cup, you almost forget you have a period, unless you have cramps. It lasted me about a year or so. There have been little to no spills.”

“At first I struggled with insertion and removal. I found it very uncomfortable the first few times but as someone who has never used tampons before, this was probably to be expected. Eventually I found what works (the punch down fold didn’t work for me and I find the C fold makes things easier). I have had the most PAIN FREE period. No cramps, no bloody pads to deal with, and after about 10-15 minutes I can’t even feel the menstrual cup !!! I use a water-based lubricant for insertion which I think has also helped massively.”

“I loved the idea of using a cup; so many pros! I managed to get this in the first time and it was comfortable whilst using, but removal was an absolute nightmare. The flimsy nature of the sides meant I couldn't break the suction and I can say that pulling this thing out was the most painful experience of my life. It was stretching my muscles all whilst tugging my cervix out. The rest of that cycle I was very sore and avoided it. Not wanting to give up, I tried it again next cycle. This time I couldn't even get it to pop open inside of me, it kept leaking. And then removal was the same agonising nightmare again. So disappointed it didn't work for me. Now I just have a very expensive bit of silicon.”

“Arrived today, took around half an hour to squeeze it in. When inserting through the hymen there is slight pain but once it was in the pain was there for a few seconds. I wore it for only 3 hours before I got rid of it. The cup did well in holding my blood, less than a drop of leakage. However, I could not stop feeling this heavy pressure down there. After research, I realised this might have been because the ring was sticking out but I could not at all push it further up. For reference, my canal is 7cm and I am 19 years old. Another problem I faced was my bladder felt a lot of pressure as well. Next time, I might go for an even softer and smaller cup. Removing it was a lot easier than inserting it.”

“This was my first ever menstrual cup and i think i’ll be sticking to it. It can be hard and intimidating at first, but once you figure it out, it’s a game changer. No matter the size of tampons i used, they leaked. My cup has never leaked when i inserted it correctly. It’s really comfortable, and hassle free since you have to change it every 8 hours. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an eco friendly alternative, or had enough of tampons and pads.”

“I used this for the first time this week and it is really great! Placement can be a bit tricky; I have another menstrual cup from another brand and I tried inserting it the same way and the cup wouldn’t suction out. Once I tried a different insertion method (v-fold vs c-fold), it was perfect. Honestly, if you’ve never tried a menstrual cup, this one is great! It will revolutionize your period! It is easy to insert (once you figure out your body), easy to remove, deep enough that it’s not going to spill and make a mess, and best of all, no leakage or worries about leakage!”

“I bought this about 6 months ago and wow is it a lifesaver. I used to use tampons and I always hated the string dangling and having to dispose of them, and this product eliminates both those problems. I feel comfortable wearing it all day at work and its an easy clean-up with the spray cleaner.”

“I work as a lifeguard so I can't use pads for work and tampons are annoying to carry around. I never liked tampons mainly bc I can feel the string and they create waste. I can still feel the loop of the Lilly cup but I think it has something to do with my opening being sensitive. I opened the package and it looks adorable. it does take a while to learn to insert It but once you do it works great. the cup itself is more comfortable than tampons and it works great in the water. this is my first mensural cup and I can safely say I won't be using tampons anymore (unless I'm desperate), because Lilly cup one is all I will need. things it does better than tampons: -reusable -easier to carry -more cost efficient (costs between 2-3 boxes of good tampons and lasts longer) -more durable -can last longer without a change (wouldn't sleep in it tho) -no leaks, despite the position of my body (this is something it does better than pads) -smoother to take out -non-absorbant so you can see the amount of blood u collected (I think this is cool)”

“Would 100% recommend the switch. I tried to a few to find the one for me but the collapsable cup has been my go to. Used for 18 months but the look had just snapped. Thought it would last longer.”
