Solgar 5HTP Complex Capsules is a complex formulated to help those individuals coping with modern day stresses and strains which may be effecting sleep or mood balance. This unique formula is designed to help you switch off from a busy day and aid a restful sleep in just 1-2 capsules a day. This product is also suitable for vegans. Solgar 5-HTP complex 90 vegi capsules are made by the body from the amino acid tryptophan and cannot be sourced from the diet, 5HTP is then changed into the neurotransmitter known as serotonin. These capsules are sugar, salt and starch free. With our modern lifestyles, it can be hard to switch off after a long day and many of us find it difficult to wind down and get good quality sleep.

Magnesium (as oxide, bisglycinate) 50mg, 5-HTP (L-5-Hydrooxytrptophan from Standardised Griffonia simplicfolia Seed Extract) 100mg, Valerian Root Powder Extract (4:1) (Valeriana Officinalis) 100mg, Bulking Agent: microcrystaline cellulose, Vegetable Capsule Shell, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCI, pyridoxal-5 -phosphate) 10mg, Anti-caking Agent: vegetable magnesium stearate.

Directions:

Very strong dosage
“I only took Solgar 5-HTP for a couple of days but had to stop as it gave me stomach problems. I believe the dosage of 100mg was too strong for me. Anyone buying this product needs to be aware of this potential side effect. I noticed a couple of other reviewers mentioned the same problem.”
