In the summertime, Ukraine transforms into a haven for bees, boasting vast fields of golden sunflowers for them to gather nectar from. Beekeeping holds a rich tradition in Ukraine, where more beekeepers and hives thrive than anywhere else in Europe.
These dedicated beekeepers traverse the country with their hives, beginning their journey with sage honey near Odessa and venturing into the Northern forests to collect honeydew as late summer approaches.
