From pop icon to powerful voice for women, former Spice Girl Mel B has never compromised on showing up as her true self. Now, she’s bringing that same energy as Revive Collagen’s new ambassador, encouraging women to feel confident, supported and in control of their health at every stage.

Let's head down to Mel’s Yorkshire farm to find out what 24 hours in wellness means to her – and why collagen supplements feel like a “no-brainer” to her.
What time do you wake up and what's your first thought?
Dogs, coffee, Revive Meno Max and ‘What’s happening today?’. And because I get woken up by my cock-a-doodle-doo, I also think ‘Eggs... need to collect them.’
Taking daily could support your skin health and collagen formation
What does your daily workout routine look like?
I am happy when I stick to my daily routine of taking my Revive menopause sachets then my Peloton. After that I do my ice baths, a Himalayan salt sauna and my infrared sunshower. Then I use my LED mask and my day starts. I live on a farm in Yorkshire and just running around my farm – which is basically a series of steep hills – keeps me pretty fit.
If you’re having a meh day, how do you spice it up?
I put my hair in two bunches on my head, put on my leopard-print kitten-ears hairband (always cheers me up), my big coat and go for a walk. I hug a tree at the bottom of my fields, then I’ll come back, put on music very, very loud and sing along to myself or my animals – and maybe throw out a couple of moves…

“Back in the day I was less aware of my wellness, but the older you get the wiser you get – and we all have to take care of ourselves"

We can’t believe it, but you recently turned 50 – congrats! How do you feel in your body, compared to your Spice Girl days?
Well, I can still fit into all my Spice Girl clothes and generally I do look after myself. Back in the day I was less aware of eating well, getting enough sleep and being super disciplined about my skin routine but the older you get the wiser you get. And we all have to take care of ourselves.

How do you make Revive Collagen part of your daily routine?
It's so easy! I wake up and have them with my coffee. And because I travel a lot the sachets are so convenient to pack in my case and then carry a few with me in my bag so I don’t have to stop my routine. I am taking two at the moment: Revive Collagen Menopause Max, which I take in the morning, and Revive Collagen Menopause Beauty Sleep (which is amazing) at night. Knowing that collagen starts to really deplete from your 30s and for the rest of your life, supplementing it daily feels like a no-brainer to me.

Lunch break! What’s your favourite delicious (and nutritious) meal?
I love a healthy, brothy chicken soup with loads of vegetables – mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, onions, garlic – so tasty. Luckily my husband [hairstylist Rory McPhee] is a whizz in the kitchen, loves to cook and knows exactly what I like – so he does everything perfectly for me.

What’s your priority when planning meals – flavour, nutrition, gut health or something else?
Food has to taste good so I love lots of garlic, cumin, turmeric and curry flavours – but for me on a daily basis, it has to feel really healthy and nutritious. I don’t like things to be fatty or salty or lots of butter. But then every now and again I’ll have a massive fish and chips, with scraps in a big bap. I’m a Yorkshire girl so it’s part of my culture!

How do you prioritise proper mental rest?
Any tricks to clear your mind? Brain breaks. I swear by them. We all get overwhelmed and stressed and I think it’s important every now and again to put away phones, laptops and literally unplug and then just be in the moment.

“Menopause happens to all of us, ladies. Embrace it by looking after yourself – body and mind.”

What is it about Revive Collagen that particularly appeals to you?
As well as being great for my brain health – particularly my memory – I love the fact that Revive Collagen as a brand is meeting women where they are, at every age and stage of their journey through womanhood. What better than to champion a product for women of my age – and younger and older – who are going through menopause. It happens to all of us, ladies. Embrace it by looking after yourself – body and mind.
You need a gym buddy. Who are you calling?
My husband Rory, who is super fit.

You juggle so many projects, from filming America’s Got Talent to your advocacy work with survivors of abusive relationships – you’ve even got an MBE. How do you achieve so much without burning out?
I love what I do and I look after myself. I know when to stop and when to start.

And relax! How do you unwind at the end of a hectic day?
Hang out with my animals on my farm in Yorkshire and walk around the woods in my wellies and overalls. Bliss.
