Try our take on traditional Toffee Apples, made with sticky dates for a delicious and virtuous taste of salted caramel.
- 3 apples
- 3 sticks
- 250g divine dates *
- 230ml boiling water
- 50g chopped nuts * (or topping of choice)
- Pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt *

Soak the dates in 230ml boiling water for at least 10 minutes, then whizz up in a blender with a pinch of Himalayan salt until a smooth paste has formed.
Insert sticks into the stem side of the apples and dip into the date paste until fully covered. Coat in chopped nuts or your topping of choice, then refrigerate for a few hours to firm the caramel before serving.
